Going thrift shopping is one my favorite things to do because it feels great to be getting cool new clothes for cheap. Thrift stores aren’t necessarily for everyone, but I think everyone should give it a try atleast once. Who doesnt like finding cute clothes for cheap especially with how high everything is priced now a days. So if you feel like you’re a hopeless thrift shopper, here are three important tips that I’ve learned on making thrift shopping bit easier:
Tip #1. Look through everything, it might seem like there’s nothing there, but if you look hard enough you might find something you love!

Tip #2. Get creative, if you see something you like and it doesn’t fit you quite right, see if there’s a way you can cut it or add something to it to make it look the way you want. A little effort may go a long way and you’ll most likely be happy with your results if you use your imagination.

This sweater was altered by cutting off a few inches from the bottom. I also cut the collar of the sweater off.
Tip #3. Have an open mind, don’t be too picky when going thrift shopping. If you see something that has potential and the price is right just go for it. Don’t regret it later by passing it up only to see a couple weeks later someone else took it, put their spin on it and made it look good with a little TLC.

Hopefully these tips make your thrift shopping experience easier! Let me know which outfit you like best I’d love to get some feedback.
