Artist of the Week: Lorin Hartwell

This week we were given the opportunity to interview up and coming Model/Actress Lorin Hartwell which was this year’s Tecate Light Miss Toyota Grand Prix. We had a chance to sit down with Lorin and conduct a video interview which also shows clips from the contest and takes you a bit into her life. It excited us to be the first website to interview Lorin since her big win and get the insight on what happened behind the scenes.

RMG: How long have you been Modeling/Acting?

Lorin Hartwell: I’ve been modeling for 7 years now and acting since I was 6.

RMG: What was it like to win the crown?

Lorin Hartwell: It was a lot of fun. I went into this whole experience just to have fun and that’s exactly what I did.

RMG: What was the best experience of it all?

Lorin Hartwell: I got the chance to ride once of the pace cars so they took me around the race track at 140 mph.

RMG: Since winning the contest, what have you been working on?

Lorin Hartwell: A lot of doors have opened up for me since winning and I was asked to be one of the faces for Total MMA

RMG: What is your dream or goal you want to achieve?

Lorin Hartwell: I’d love to be on the big screen and a billboard for Guess.

RMG: What advice do you have for the girls entering in next year’s contest?

Lorin Hartwell: Be confident and be  true to who you are. Have fun and the more true you are to yourself the more fun you’ll have.
